Executive Team & Board Alignment
Does your team have a clear, shared understanding of its vision, strategy, and critical priorities?
Are your team members comfortable with constructive conflict?
Does your team as a whole come to the best decisions?
Is your team spending time and energy on the right things?
Do your team offsites lead to meaningful, lasting change?
Teams are the fundamental building blocks of every organization, yet most leaders don’t invest enough time and effort in developing teams to reach their full potential. Effective team alignment goes beyond mere team building, addressing underlying dynamics to improve how team members think and work together to achieve business goals.
We help CEOs and senior executives align their teams with a shared strategic agenda that addresses critical governance and execution issues. We foster productive conversations that focus on what’s most important, clarify priorities, and make difficult tradeoffs. Teams come away with a shared understanding and deeper commitment to executing a focused plan: here’s where we’re going, how we’re going to get there, and why it matters.
We also work with boards to assess their performance, improve governance, and optimize board processes.

Ankur Saraiya, MD
Executive Coach
Dr. Ankur Saraiya is an executive coach, medical doctor, and practicing psychiatrist. His coaching centers on optimizing performance, with a dual focus on work/life/health balance and relationship management.
Ankur believes true success comes from peak performance at work, fulfillment at home, and a healthy mind and body. Clients often approach him with a problem in one of these areas but then find that optimizing all three is what leads to lasting change and long-term success.
Ankur maintains coaching and psychiatry practices in New York City and Charlotte, NC. His clients include corporate executives, professional athletes, artists, and others whose careers demand peak performance.
Ankur’s interest in helping people maintain their physical health drew him to the practice of medicine. In medical school, the undeniable mind-body connection led him to psychiatry. He began his professional career treating people with basic psychological complaints, such as depression and anxiety, and integrated his personal interest in fitness and nutrition into the treatment.
As his clients’ initial health complaints were resolved, Ankur noticed something interesting: his clients continued coming to see him. This was notable because in the traditional medical model, people come in when they’re sick and leave when they feel better. Realizing that this model was obsolete, he built his practice on the integration of physical health, career advancement, and personal relationships, in a method he calls comprehensive coaching.
In 2021, New York Magazine listed him as one of the “Best Therapists in New York,” and he has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal and Men’s Health. He is a recognized expert witness and speaker, and he has worked with the New York Police Department, as well as the state court.
Ankur received his BA from Harvard College and his MD from Columbia University. He studied forensic psychology at NYU and Bellevue Hospital, and he is board certified in both general and forensic psychiatry.
